Assembly Worker - Ruskin Manufacturing Location: 2492 Palumbo Drive, Lexington, KY 40509 Department: Production / Assembly Hours: Monday - Friday 4p - 1230a Pay Rate: $15.25/HR + $0.75 shift differential About the Role We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assembly Worker to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. This role involves assembling components to precise specifications using hand tools, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is safety focused, comfortable working on their feet, and able to follow both written and verbal instructions. Key Responsibilities Assemble sheet metal components according to drawings and work instructions Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and measurement specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and a tape measure accurately Inspect parts for quality and report any issues or defects Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Maintain a clean, organized work area Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals Required Qualifications Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to accurately use a tape measure Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience using hand tools and basic power tools Strong attention to detail Dependable and able to follow instructions Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time (8-12 hours per shift) Ability to lift or carry materials up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks Work Environment Work is performed in a sheet metal fabrication facility, which includes: Exposure to machinery noise Metal dust, sharp edges, and airborne particles Temperature changes depending on season and equipment use Forklift and equipment traffic PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, hearing protection, etc.) is required Fast paced production environment with daily deadlines How to Apply Interested candidates should include relevant work history for at least the past 5 years on their application or resume.
