Salary : $57,852.00 - $83,448.00 Annually Location : Boulder County, CO Job Type: Full-time Job Number: 6649(KB5) Department: Public Works Opening Date: 02/18/2026 Closing Date: 3/4/2026 11:59 PM Mountain FLSA: Non-Exempt Description Boulder County Public Works Department is seeking to hire 3 (three) Custodial Quality Control Supervisors. Custodial Quality Control Supervisor is a supervisory/lead classification in the custodial classification series. The Quality Control Supervisor performs supervisory duties and a variety of skilled inspection, and technical duties for all custodial staff and buildings. Also provides training to custodial staff. These are full-time, benefited positions that will work Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 1:30am; or Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm. These positions will work out of various locations and 2525 13th St Suite 203, Boulder Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, these positions are non-exempt (eligible for overtime). Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.Hiring Salary Range: $57,852.00 - $70,650.00 Annually Tentative Hiring Timeline: Phone Screening: Week of March 9th First Round Interviews: Week of March 16th Second Round Interviews: Week of March 23rd Reference Check: Week of March 23rd New employees receive an of vacation at the time of hire, in addition to 8 hours of both vacation and medical leave accruals each month (Must not have been employed at Boulder County during the 12 months prior to re-hire date to qualify). Examples of DutiesProvides oversight of custodial staff at assigned locations, including the work of site leaders; provides work information and feedback to Operations Supervisor Understands and provides training to custodial staff and custodial site leaders on the proper use of cleaning materials and equipment, cleaning techniques, cleaning regiments and processes Supervises and directs the daily work or custodial staff and provides input and feedback to the custodial operations supervisor Conducts employee evaluations, counsels' employees concerning performance, and recommends personnel actions in the areas of hiring, discipline, promotion and termination Researches information on new cleaning materials and equipment and requested information and makes recommendations to the custodial operations supervisor as to their appropriateness Provides specialized training to individual custodial staff as needed May perform fill-in duties for custodial staff, site leaders, or custodial operations supervisor as needed Assists in creating training manuals, developing procedures based on best work practices Monitors and updates spreadsheets to track quality, time management, square footage, and inventory as needed Site and work assignments are based on need and can change at any time Performs related work, as required May be reassigned during emergency situations Required Qualifications PLEASE NOTE: When completing your application describe all relevant education and experience, as applications are assessed based on the required qualifications listed.
