Java Full Stack Developer

Summary: Global Financial Firm located in Irving, TX has an immediate contract opportunity. This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule. Reliable internet, computer, and Android or iPhone are required for remote access. Expected in the office weekly for 3 days, depending on team requirement. Responsibilities: Lead by example in bringing agility into software development by following agile best practices. Act as a liaison between development manager and the scrum team. Coach and mentor the team, and eliminate impediments. Manage stakeholders and partner to develop roadmap, releases/milestones, and be accountable for delivery. Develop frameworks, designs, data models, and architecture diagrams; document and communicate within and outside the team. Ensure best engineering standards are followed by the team, including DevOps and SRE. Be the second level reviewer for application design and implementation. Provide inputs and review test plans and test cases for adequate coverage to ensure product quality. Be accountable for smooth releases. Act as a single point of contact for production incidents at L3 level, troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues permanently. Ensure sprint deliverables are met. Adjust capacity while remaining hands-on in addressing stories as a developer. Requirements: 9 years of Full Stack software engineering experience in developing enterprise-scale applications. Required Skills: Expertise in building web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React, and Oracle/PostgreSQL technology stack. Expertise in enterprise integrations through RESTful APIs and Kafka messaging. Expertise in Elastic Search, NoSQL databases, and caching solutions. Expertise in designing and optimizing software solutions for performance and stability. Expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving. Expertise in site reliability engineering. Expertise in Test Driven Development. Expertise in authentication, authorization, and security. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with AWS cloud and preparation for migrating applications, services, and data to AWS.
