ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and telemetry experience are necessary for candidates. Candidates must have worked with level 1 or 2 trauma patients. Experience with post-operative care for trauma and general surgery patients is required. Knowledge of abdominal surgeries and tracheostomy management is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with foley catheters, surgical drains, and wound care management. Experience with ostomy care, ports, and PICC line management is critical. Candidates must also have experience with TPN and lipid administration. The daily patient census is approximately 32 patients, with an emphasis on adult care. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility as needed. Compliance requirements include BLS, ACLS, and other competency exams relevant to progressive care. This position requires adaptability and strong clinical skills for managing complex patient needs.
