General Surgery Physician Assistant - PA Schedule: Full-time Opportunity Pay Range is dependent on experience Job Description:Conduct patient assessments, including physical examinations and review of medical histories. Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting diagnostic tests such as imaging studies and laboratory tests. Collaborate with surgeons to develop and implement treatment plans for patients undergoing surgical procedures. Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, positioning patients, and providing surgical instruments. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, and patient education. Physician Assistant Qualifications: Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program. Current and valid Physician Assistant license in the state of NY. Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
