Job Description Manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Oversee subcontractors and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any issues. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients and team members. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. The Successful Applicant A successful Site Superintendent - Civil Construction should have: Proven experience in managing construction projects in the property industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Problem-solving skills to address challenges on-site efficiently. Proficiency in project management tools and software. General knowledge of Building and Construction codes in Albany, NY.
