DescriptionCal Poly Pomona Enterprises Employment ServicesANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCYSUMMARY: Currently searching for one Part-Time Undergraduate Student Assistant to work in the STARS Grant, under the supervision of Dr. Winny Dong, Principal Investigator SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety): • Learn about lab safety training. • Work on a faculty-mentored research project. • Articulate what you have learned on a research poster or oral presentation at a professional conference. • Receive faculty mentorship, workshops, and career development opportunities. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5. • Be a current STEM major or plan to become a STEM major. • Must be available each 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. • Motivated, innovative, and shows initiative PREFERRED Must possess excellent communication and have the ability to work in a team setting.
