Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical records system. Education Requirements A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field, either at the Associate's or Bachelor's level. Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred. Certifications Required Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred. Skills Needed Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning. Exceptional communication abilities and a knack for interpersonal connections.
