Specialty assignments include interpreting and applying engineering principles and techniques to the resolution of problems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEither: 1. Two years of full-time experience in the class of Senior Engineering Technician in Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) service including one year of experience in the option be tested. Or: 2. Four years of sub-professional engineering experience involving public works facilities or structures work, including two years of experience comparable to the Senior Engineering Technician in Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) service in the option being tested. Note: Completion of coursework in engineering or related field at an accredited college or university may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience. Related education substitutions for the required experience are computed based on 3 semester units or 4.5 quarter units = 1 work month.
