Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Description Position: Cardiothoracic Surgeon Location: Ocala, FL Job Type: Full-time Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join experienced team. You will work alongside another cardiothoracic surgeon and 3 APPs skilled in endo vein harvesting. Our facility is equipped with a CVICU, two heart surgery rooms, strong perfusion support, a dedicated hybrid-OR, and specialized EP and Cath services. Three dedicated cardiac anesthesiologists are part of the team. Key Responsibilities: Perform coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacements, and broad-based thoracic surgery. Participate in advanced cardiothoracic surgical programs, including TAVR, minimally invasive cardiac and robotic thoracic surgery, aortic surgery, and ECMO. Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Experience with aortic disease, including valve repair and replacement (open and endovascular). Proficiency with TAVR and minimally invasive lung surgery. Knowledge of advanced technologies to minimize the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures. Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team that includes cardiologists, anesthesiologists, surgeons, RNs, and Critical Care staff. Requirements: Experience is required.
