You Are As the Manager of AI Systems Engineering, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and deploying pioneering AI systems, specifically those powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). Your work will encompass the entire AI lifecycle, involving research, fine-tuning of foundational models, prompt engineering, and seamless integration into production environments. You will use your engineering skills and comprehensive knowledge of modern AI architectures to tackle real-world challenges, driven by a passion for applying AI responsibly. Position Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize innovative application prompts and next-gen solutions utilizing foundational models, including LLMs. Architect and implement generative agent systems to handle complex tasks efficiently through multi-model coordination. Create comprehensive strategies for applications and components, prioritizing both user experience and backend system efficiency. Define, evaluate, and optimize AI system architectures using industry best practices and frameworks. Conduct thorough code reviews, offering expert advice on enhancements and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Build and maintain scalable machine learning infrastructure, including distributed training pipelines and smooth API integrations. Apply advanced evaluation strategies to ensure model robustness, safety, and fairness, minimizing the risk of inaccurate outputs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI systems with business objectives through effective communication. Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during testing and production stages. Document technical architecture and methodologies to facilitate effective knowledge transfer and project progress. Note: Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 0 to 100% based on business needs. Here's what you need: Minimum of 4 years' experience in designing and building resilient AI systems or products, implementing controls and best practices for production AI systems. At least 4 years experience in creating AI solutions using design patterns such as retrieval augmentation generation (RAG) and managing data pipelines. 4 years of experience working in engineering teams with programming languages like Python, JavaScript, Java, Spring, or Go, demonstrating proficiency in AI frameworks like Autogen, LangGraph, and Semantic Kernel. Experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with AI services on these platforms. 3 years of experience in AI Engineering focused on applications or products, with expertise in fine-tuning and prompt engineering. 2 years of experience in a leadership role or within team management in AI-related projects. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Bonus Points if you have: Experience in training, fine-tuning, and evaluating LLMs and multimodal models using advanced techniques. Experience in designing frameworks for AI solution value justification, including cost estimation and ROI analysis. Experience in building solutions with Model Context Protocol and understanding evolving agent standards. Experience developing applications for mobile and web platforms. Experience creating Agentic AI systems.
