Electrical Technician / Journeyman Electrician Location: Quincy, MA Type: Full-time | Onsite Pay: 26-42/hr Based off experience License Required: MA Journeyman Electrical License Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial plant. This hands-on role supports safe and efficient plant operations while troubleshooting and maintaining process and control systems. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems and equipment Perform preventive maintenance and document work in systems Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, DCS systems, and process equipment Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs Oversee outside electrical contractors as needed Support plant operations including boilers, turbines, and wastewater systems Requirements: MA Journeyman Electrical License 2+ years industrial/commercial electrical experience Ability to read blueprints and use hand/power tools Experience with PLCs, Honeywell Experion, and DCS preferred Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces and at heights
