Collections Specialist / Accounts Receivable Specialist Are you detail-oriented and skilled at managing accounts while maintaining excellent customer relationships? Our client is seeking a Collections Specialist to handle outstanding balances for construction projects, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure smooth collections processes. This role is key to keeping cash flow steady and maintaining accurate financial records. Benefits & Extras Stable, full-time position with a consistent schedule (Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM) Collaborative work environment supporting internal teams and clients Opportunity to directly impact financial performance and project success Hands-on experience with construction account collections Work closely with clients to resolve account disputes and manage payments Compensation $22-$24+ per hour, depending on experience What You'll Be Doing Contact clients to collect overdue payments and resolve account disputes Process and track payments to ensure timely posting Manage lien waivers, notices to owners (NTOs), and related project documentation Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to coordinate account-related needs Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and documentation Assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting as needed What You'll Need to be Considered 3+ years of Collections/ AR experience in the construction industry or transferrable industry (REQUIRED) Experience with lien waivers and related construction account processes (REQUIRED) Familiarity with accounts receivable systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills How To Apply We'd love to see your resume, but we don't need it to have a conversation.
