Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - High School Case Management Role El Monte Union High School District | Los Angeles County, CAAmergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide case management and compliance oversight across two high school sites within the El Monte Union High School District. This role is ideal for an SLP who enjoys collaboration, IEP leadership, and program oversight, with SLPA support for direct services.Why This Role Stands Out - $70-$80/hour, based on experience - Monday-Friday | Standard school-day hours - High school population only - Case management-focused role (SLPAs provide direct therapy) - Contract through the remainder of the 2025-2026 school yearWhat You'll Be Doing - Provide case management for approximately 90 high school students - Oversee and collaborate with on-site SLPAs - Conduct assessments, re-evaluations, and eligibility determinations - Lead and participate in IEP development and meetings - Ensure accurate and timely documentation - Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams - Support student progress through data-driven decision-makingThis Role Is Best for SLPs Who Have: - Active California SLP license and/or ASHA CCC-SLP - Previous school-based experience (high school preferred) - Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance - Experience supervising or collaborating with SLPAs - Excellent organization and documentation skills - Confidence working within a multidisciplinary teamThis position is not primarily a direct-therapy role.
