Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest as an Aspiring RN Technician. This part-time role is ideal for nursing students currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program or recent graduates within the last 30 days, offering hands-on experience under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Role Overview As an Aspiring RN Technician, you will perform nursing functions aligned with your current education and verified competencies. Responsibilities include assisting with medication administration (excluding chemotherapy, IV medications, and scheduled drugs), practicing the 8 rights of medication administration, monitoring patient responses, and promptly reporting to supervising nurses. You will support patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity, and helping with documentation and communication within the care team. Education High School Diploma or equivalent Currently enrolled in a nursing program approved by the commission or graduated within the last 30 days Experience and Skills Understanding of patient confidentiality and ability to maintain discretion Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Competent documentation abilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently Genuine interest in patient care and safety Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays Work Environment This position involves working in a fast-paced healthcare setting with a focus on compassionate patient care.
