Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the building and grounds are maintained and functioning as directed by routine schedules.EDUCATION, Experience and TRAINING Free of a conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.High school degree or equivalent along with trade school.A minimum of three – five years maintenance experience, preferred.Valid driver's license required for driving requirements. Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance is required. Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift, and move throughout areas as required. Ability to sit, drive, push, pull, grasp, reach and climb ladders as required. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate hand tools, electrical equipment, computer keyboard, mouse and other devices and objects.The environment can be crowded, noisy with frequent distractions. Subject to various temperatures and weather conditions when driving or working outside.Traveling throughout the community to complete job responsibilities.
