Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Float) {166507}Location: Bloomington Indiana 47401Pay Rate: $74.87/hourSchedule: Full-time (Average 30-32.5 hours/week); Every other weekend; Possible holiday rotationsPosition SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based primary and family care to a panel of patients. The care team partners daily with providers to drive improved health outcomes across the patient population. Responsibilities include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of acute and chronic health conditions, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role reports directly to the Practice Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care Deliver comprehensive primary and family care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health managementPerform routine physical examinations and diagnostic testingProvide chronic condition management and preventive health screeningsEducate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and wellness strategiesCoordinate care plans with other healthcare professionalsEncourage patient engagement in personal healthcare and overall well-being Administrative & Operational Duties Open and close clinic as requiredMaintain clinic cleanliness and organizationManage inventory and suppliesVerify insurance coverage and collect paymentsConduct patient follow-upsManage patient appointments and scheduling Required Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner programCurrent National Board CertificationActive State license to practice as an Advanced Practice NurseMinimum of 1 year recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine or primary care practice preferred If not, successful completion of internal primary care training program required Current BLS certification (copy required upon offer acceptance)DEA registration required at time of offer acceptance (unless otherwise noted)Verifiable High School Diploma or GEDWillingness to obtain multi-state licensure Required Skills & Competencies Strong working knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease managementAbility to work autonomously without direct supervisionProficiency in information management and healthcare technology systemsEffective verbal, written, and electronic communication skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesSelf-motivated with initiative and problem-solving skillsAdaptability and flexibility in a float capacityAbility to collaborate effectively within a clinical care teamComfortable working within a team-based care model
