Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Each location is equipped with an onsite lab and in-house x-ray capability.CompensationFT Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per yearPT Pay: $62,500.00 - $110,000.00 per year (Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week)Benefits/PerksGreat small business and fast-paced work environmentPaid Malpractice InsuranceFlexible scheduling FT and PT shifts availableNever be “on-call” work your hours and only your hoursClientele of repeat patients, that value our expertise & relationshipsCompetitive CompensationPaid Time OffHealth BenefitsCME stipendPhysician Assistant Responsibilities include, but are not limited toProviding the highest quality patient careManaging all patient care at the centerOrdering and reading all diagnostic x-rays, EKGs and labsPerform laceration repair, I&Ds, splinting, eye injury exams, ear lavage and IV infusionsEnsuring medical staff follows proper protocols and conducts patient call backsEnsuring prescription medication and CLIA approved laboratory complianceEnsuring accuracy of International Classification of Diseases (ICD) Rev 10 codesRecommending additional urgent care equipment, supplies and medications neededSupervising and mentoring of medical staff on shiftEnsuring all charts and medical records (which are kept electronically) are accurately completed in a timely mannerEnsuring patients are discharged with detailed instructionsEnsuring biological specimens are collected and processed in the labAdhering to all center policies and proceduresPhysician Assistant QualificationsBachelor of Science in Biology or other Pre-medical diplomaMaster of Science in Physician Assistant Studies diplomaActive and current National Commission Physician Assistant certificationActive and current Medical and/or Osteopathic Physician Assistant license in PennsylvaniaActive and current Federal DEA Mid-Level Practitioner Physician Assistant licenseActive and current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationActive and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationMinimum of one year working as PA-C Provider in Urgent Care or Emergency MedicineFamiliar with occupational medicineComfort and experience treating patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics (6months+)Effective and compassionate communicator with staff, patients and familyHigh-energy individual with a professional appearance and attitude, team player, multi-tasker, and passionate about the practice of medicineActive and current National Registry DOT/CDL Medical Examiner certification a plus
