Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $22.50 - $41.25 Position Highlights Join our Geriatrics Team at FHC - Marion Rd as a primary nurse, making a meaningful impact in patient care. LPN Job Summary: As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver professional nursing care under the direction of a provider, focusing on the well-being of our patients. Requirements: An active license in the state of practice is required upon hire. Student Loan Repayment: This RN position may qualify for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, offering an extra monthly payment of $167 (up to $10,000) to help you manage your student debt effectively. A Brief Overview In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care while collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes. What You Will Do: Deliver general nursing care and administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established standards. Prepare equipment and assist providers during procedures and examinations. Monitor and document patients' conditions and communicate any changes to the provider. Manage appointment scheduling, prioritizing urgent cases and maintaining patient flow. Welcome patients and gather essential health information, including vitals and health history. Respond promptly to patient inquiries and provide education on diagnostics, medications, and overall health. Propose solutions for patient care challenges and resolve complaints effectively. Maintain a well-stocked, organized, and clean exam room. Ensure proper labeling and handling of pathology specimens and maintain lab testing records. Essential Qualifications: Your ability to work the scheduled hours is critical. You must possess visual acuity adequate for your duties and communicate effectively with patients and team members. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) - An active license with state Board of Nursing required upon hire.
