The Stroke Survivors Network The Stroke Survivors Network is seeking trusted, compassionate volunteers to help monitor our mobile app community for stroke and brain injury survivors. Our app is a safe space for survivors and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and support one another. Volunteer Responsibilities: Monitor posts, comments, and messages for inappropriate behavior, harassment, or misinformation Enforce community guidelines fairly and respectfully Flag or report misconduct and escalate concerns when necessary Help maintain a positive, supportive, and survivor-centered environment Ideal Volunteers Will Have: Strong communication and judgment skills Comfort using mobile apps and online platforms Empathy, patience, and professionalism Lived experience as a survivor or caregiver is a plus, but not required Time Commitment: Flexible (remote role; a few hours per week) This non-medical volunteer role is essential to protecting the safety and well-being of our community members.
