Are you looking to make an impactful change within an established organization? Butler Machinery is hiring for a Used Equipment Support Specialist covering our heavy construction equipment. This position is responsible for supporting the sales staff, managing the inspection process, and purchasing used equipment. We are looking for self-motivated, forward-thinking individuals to join us in our continued success. Responsibilities: Evaluates inspections and determines value of machines Assists designated associates with the machine inspection process. Maintains and updates condition reports, descriptions, and photos for marketing machines. Assists in the management of used machine and attachment inventory. Supports sales staff's needs as it pertains to used equipment. Purchases used equipment and attachments. Sells used equipment to out of territory customers. Sells used attachments to out of territory customers. Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC. Monitor receiving and delivery of used machines Coordinates repairs of used equipment with service departments and reviewing work orders. Performs other duties as assigned. Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC. Qualifications: Must be knowledgeable in the heavy equipment industry. Must possess a strong mechanical background/aptitude. Technical experience is preferred. Must have knowledge of equipment configuration, application, and operation. Must be detail oriented Must possess a high level of accuracy. Strong computer skills with aptitude to learn new applications. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to accurately evaluate and report equipment conditions. Ability to accurately estimate repairs. Assist in setting up and invoicing of machines.
