The Commercial Card Product Group specializes in providing innovative payment solutions tailored for our clients, including small businesses and large corporations. As the Manager of Payables & Business Card Products, you will play a key role in shaping and executing strategies to enhance UMB's Payables and Business Banking card solutions. Your main focus will be on Integrated Payables solutions across all segments in Commercial Banking, collaborating closely with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams. You will engage with Supplier Enablement networks to boost customer spending for the Payables program, conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis, define product features and functionalities, and undertake other vital initiatives as assigned by Bank Product leadership. This hybrid role requires candidates to be on-site from Monday to Thursday, with remote work on Fridays, and is available for qualified individuals throughout the U.S. In this role, you'll be responsible for: Creating dynamic product roadmaps based on industry trends, insightful market research, client feedback, and input from essential stakeholders. Setting priorities for initiatives to align with overall company objectives and goals. Assisting in developing Functional Requirements/Vision Documents that outline product enhancements and development initiatives. Overseeing the creation of prototypes that illustrate specific product enhancements and new initiatives. Evaluating client needs, technology trends, and key competitors to synthesize product requirements, leveraging market and client research and analysis to maintain a long-term product roadmap. Helping develop comprehensive business cases, inclusive of financial impacts, for the introduction of new products or modifications to existing products. Collaborating with internal departments (sales, operations, legal, implementation, and compliance) to ensure successful delivery of new functionalities, enhancements, and capabilities that adhere to all company and regulatory standards. Partnering with product marketing and sales enablement teams to ensure successful market launches for product enhancements. Maintaining all internal and external product documentation to ensure accuracy and currency. Contributing to Concept, Vision, and requirement definitions, as well as sales and marketing tool development. Managing timelines and responsibilities for both internal and external resources to ensure product launches are timely and within budget. Engaging in Supplier Enablement activities to enhance customer spending through outreach campaigns based on vendor lists from clients. Providing education and training to other departments and teams on the value and benefits of both new and existing products. We encourage you to apply if you have: An undergraduate degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of comprehensive product development experience, or a combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background. Robust experience in product marketing or project management, particularly regarding product launches. Experience with TSYS. Expertise in Supplier Enablement. Knowledge of Integrated Payables and Business Card product use cases as well as back-end functionalities. A goal-oriented mindset with the capability to both conceptualize and manage products through their entire lifecycle. Applicants must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
