Import Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Import Specialist to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in import operations, compliance, and logistics coordination. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments while ensuring adherence to U.S. Customs regulations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all import activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with federal regulations. Prepare and review shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods. Monitor and track shipments, resolving any delays or discrepancies promptly. Maintain accurate records of import transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements. Stay updated on changes in import laws, tariffs, and trade agreements. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export operations or international logistics. Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import compliance procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
