Position Overview This role is dedicated to delivering clinical services within the Employee Health department. Key responsibilities include administering annual flu vaccinations and ensuring tuberculosis (TB) compliance for all staff members, as well as managing health compliance for new hires. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical services focused on employee health and safety. Administer annual flu shots and manage flu compliance for employees. Conduct annual TB testing and respiratory fit tests, ensuring proper documentation. Oversee new hire physical examinations and maintain compliance records. Maintain and update the employee health database accurately. Develop and review clinical policies, procedures, forms, and medical records. Ensure adherence to Cal/OSHA guidelines and regulations. Qualifications At least two years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is required. One year or more of experience in Occupational Health is preferred. Experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting for 1-2 years is advantageous. Familiarity with workers' compensation systems and OSHA/Cal-OSHA regulations is preferred. Proficiency with personal computers and excellent communication skills are essential. Education Graduation from an accredited LVN program is required. Licenses and Certifications Current LVN license valid in California is mandatory. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider program is required. All candidates must successfully complete a physical evaluation, urine drug screening, and pre-employment background checks prior to starting work. Compliance with regional COVID-19 vaccination mandates is also required.
