Assistant Project Manager, Land Development

Our client is currently seeking a Assistant Project Manager, Land Development to work fully onsite in Towson, MD. Responsibilities Assistance in Project Management, including preparing initial project scope and project proposal, reviewing production plans, coordinating permitting and entitlement approval process, planning project staffing and resources, supervising project closeout Review and oversight of comprehensive site plan package preparation, including design of Stormwater Management & Stormwater Conveyance Systems, grading designs, utility systems, soil erosion and sediment control plans Project Coordination, including conferring with client, attorney, project team, and subconsultants Financial Management, including preparation of contracts & change orders, workload projections, contract management, and client invoicing Communicate and coordinate with clients, including meeting attendance Prepare written correspondence with outside agencies, client, attorney, contractor, etc. Review construction cost estimates Review concept drawings based on client's development objectives and conclusions of due diligence Business Development, including soliciting and growing existing accounts, obtaining referrals for new accounts, and developing a professional network for future opportunities Attend and speak at public hearings and community meetings Staff development and mentoring Engage in activities within civic, professional, and business organizations Perform other duties as assigned Comply with all policies and standards Education Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience Work Experience 6+ years of residential and/or commercial/industrial site design and jurisdictional permitting experience Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Project Management experience Client experience Technical Knowledge In-depth knowledge of civil site design and stormwater management design Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Proficiency in drainage software: StormCAD, Hydroflow, HydroCAD, Bentley Suites Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project Licenses and Certifications Professional Engineer (PE) License beneficial
