Concrete Foreman

About the Job General description: The Concrete Foreman will lead a dedicated crew while providing crucial support to the superintendent. You will take charge of scheduling and managing specific portions of the project. Responsibilities: Assist in submitting timecards for field personnel. Layout and verify dimensions for panels and slabs. Organize job duties for carpenters, ensuring efficient workflow. Collaborate closely with the superintendent on daily job requirements. Coordinate with the superintendent regarding daily materials and tools needs. Work alongside the crew using tools while providing clear direction. Offer practical solutions and adjustments as necessary during construction. Direct the erection of tilt panels, ensuring proper techniques. Maintain detailed documentation and accurate paperwork. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Foreman. Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding tasks. Knowledge of tilt-up panels and the construction process is preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Willingness to work weekends if needed. Ability to provide basic hand tools for carpentry tasks. OSHA Certification or a commitment to obtain one. Working conditions: Work outdoors in various weather conditions. Capability to lift at least 50lbs as necessary.
