SUMMARY: The Senior Operations Coordinator coordinates the activities of the production departments in finite scheduling, materials management, product routing, inventory management, data integrity and is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Production Systems. They must be a leader in living and driving the Company Core Values and High-Performance Work Culture. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations SME who provides training in all areas of operations to: Production Managers Production Coordinators Schedulers Operators (all levels). Mechanics (all levels). Operations SME who provides technical support in all areas of operations to: Finance (Production Data for Costing) BOM (Routing and Drawings) Engineering (Production Data) Support production managers with data to ensure that the production crew is efficiently producing top quality products safely in accordance with all policies and procedures. Direct and assist with production schedules to meet customer needs or the needs of other departments. Review work orders ahead of run time to communicate with Supply Chain if materials are necessary. Follow Company product safety requirements including standards such as those from SQF and internal GMPs. This includes the effective maintenance and enforcement of the requirements contained in the SQF Food Safety Management system. Communicate daily progress reports to Operations & Plant Managers in relevant departments. Effectively communicate topics such as progress reports, issues, materials, training, staffing needs, schedule changes e.g., running ahead. Be the point of contact for Scheduling and Supply Chain for Can Plant Operations. Coordinates "Month End Closing" with the Planning Team and Finance. Oversight of Data Integrity to ensure system decisions are based on accurate data. Operations representative for the Sample Group. Coordinates Temporary Staff for the Belcamp site ensuring requests, on-boarding and assignment to the requesting department. Other duties that may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Successful accomplishment of duties and responsibilities require the following: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Experience minimum of 2 years as an ICC Operations Scheduler to be eligible for Senior Operations Coordinator. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and write in English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, rates, and percentage. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid state level driver's license, which meets Company requirements of the Fleet Management Policy and insurance requirements.
