We are searching for an experienced Certified Surgical First Assist.Registered Nurse Pre op PACU at Franklin Surgery CenterThe RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.Qualifications Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in TNStrong Pediatric experience requiredMust be a graduate of an accredited school of nursingMust have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in Pre and/or post operative care or ICU.Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferredMust have current BLS and ACLS certificationCurrent PALS preferredMust possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstanding of aseptic techniques and their implementationAbility to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededMust be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
