Sr AWS/Python Developer Lead

Position: Sr AWS/Python Developer Lead Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite) Experience: 8-10 Years (Preferred) Employment Type: Contract Job Description: Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-native applications using AWS services and Python. Architect, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and deliver efficient technical solutions. Implement serverless architectures leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3. Develop automation scripts and deployment pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.). Optimize application performance and scalability through effective use of AWS cloud services and Python frameworks. Ensure best practices in cloud security, monitoring, and cost optimization. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across teams. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS). Advanced proficiency in Python with frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django. Experience with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex technical initiatives. Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a focus on collaboration and delivery.
