Overview of the Role: The Traveling General Project Superintendent will play a critical role in executing project plans and overseeing all aspects of complex mega projects. This position requires full-time on-site presence at various locations throughout the United States. Key Responsibilities: Champion safety initiatives and foster a culture of an injury-free environment, conducting investigations and retraining as necessary. Manage subcontractors and organize workflows to ensure project completion. Lead and support a team of company staff, subcontractors, and suppliers while implementing safety, quality, and compliance measures. Develop comprehensive work plans for both subcontractors and self-performed tasks. Coordinate and supervise site activities effectively, ensuring project goals are met. Facilitate meetings for project progress, including daily standup and trade meetings. Adjust and manage project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager. Communicate vital project updates to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Ensure quality compliance through the implementation of standards and guidelines. Assist in project closeouts in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. Develop field staffing plans in partnership with field leadership. Identify and recruit top talent while promoting a diverse workplace. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 12 years of construction experience, including over 10 years in field supervision. Experience with large-scale, high-tech construction projects (e.g. data centers, industrial facilities) is a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead with Lean principles is also preferred.
