Camp Coordinator - Summer Seasonal

The Township of Pine Community Center is seeking Camp Coordinators to lead and supervise multiple groups of children in grades 1-6 while ensuring a safe, structured, and fun camp experience!Pay: $17 per hourHours: Full-Time & Part-Time Hours Shift: Monday - Friday; Variable Daytime Hours Anticipated Start: June 2026Duration: Up To 16 Weeks; Summer Seasonal; June Through Mid-August Key Responsibilities Plans and leads daily camp activities, games, crafts, and group programmingSupervises multiple camp groups and provides guidance to Camp CounselorsEnsures safe and accurate camper drop-off/pick-up proceduresMaintains a safe environment and responds to incidents appropriatelyCommunicates with parents regarding activities and camper behaviorCompletes required documentation and incident reportsSupports registration and front desk coordination when neededAssists with opening/closing procedures, events, and other assigned duties Requirements Preferred: Age 18+ upon date of hireAges 16-17 may be considered with proven camp leadership experienceHigh school diploma/GED, preferred1-2 years of demonstrated experience working with children1-2 years of experience coordinating or supervising programs/events preferredAcceptable clearancesCPR & First Aid (current or ability to obtain during orientation) Physical RequirementsAbility to lift/move equipment (50+ lbs), work on feet for extended periods, and work indoors/outdoors in varying weather conditions.
