In this pivotal role, you will oversee a team dedicated to delivering optimal real estate cost solutions for our clients, driving both efficiency and excellence in cost delivery. This position falls under our Building Consultancy function, where you'll manage specialist services including surveying, inspections, and planning. What You'll Do: Provide formal supervision to team members, ensuring proper training, performance evaluation, and professional development. Oversee daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and facilitate cross-training among staff. Formulate a strategic plan for managing cash flows, project accruals, and reporting on progress. Manage all aspects of cost management throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project teams for pre-bid and pre-construction services, serving as the primary point of contact for project managers and the leasing team. Administer project funding documentation while ensuring compliance with internal policies. Utilize broad business knowledge to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Model exceptional leadership behaviors, inspiring adherence to CBRE RISE values. Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges. Enhance existing methods and processes within your area of expertise. What You'll Need: Bachelor's Degree preferred along with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered. Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent required. Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in construction cost management. Strong background in staffing and talent development preferred. Exceptional leadership and communication skills to drive team performance and achieve operational targets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills with an advanced analytical mindset. Intermediate math abilities to perform complex calculations. Why CBRE? Compensation and Benefits: The minimum salary for this position is $127,500 annually, with a maximum salary of $147,000, based on experience and qualifications.
