Job Description Join our dynamic Oracle SaaS Security team as a Director of Security Solutions Architecture. In this pivotal role, you will lead the product security architecture for our SaaS Services, working alongside a team of security experts dedicated to developing and deploying secure and resilient solutions. We are seeking a forward-thinking security leader who will craft the strategy for a risk-based security review program. You will harness AI capabilities to enhance the consistency and coverage of security assessments across our SaaS offerings. Collaborate with engineering, product, security, compliance, and SaaS operations teams to establish clear patterns, standards, and guardrails that will empower teams to build securely while accelerating their delivery. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, mentor, and lead a distributed team of security architects, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Plan, prioritize, track, and deliver thorough security reviews and assessments, establishing KPIs to report progress and risk posture to senior leadership. Define secure-by-design architecture standards, security patterns, and reference implementations for SaaS Services. Enhance security processes and integrate security architecture into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using AI and automation when appropriate. Participate in technical discussions as needed; serve as a security architecture subject matter expert and trusted advisor to executive leadership and stakeholders. Collaborate with engineering, product, security, compliance, and SaaS operations teams to mitigate risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance resilience. Incorporate incident learnings into security design patterns and controls; ensure thorough documentation for audits and reviews. Assess potential business impacts from security breaches and provide strategic guidance to decision-makers. Promote the responsible use of AI and data handling in security tools and processes, in alignment with Oracle’s security, privacy, and compliance standards. Stay informed on emerging threats and standards, translating insights into actionable guidance on topics like cryptography, AI Security, identity management, web security, and multi-tenant deployment. Qualifications: At least 10 years of professional experience in various security domains, including product and application security, security testing, and security architecture. A minimum of 3 years of leadership and people management experience. Experience guiding product security architecture in a large-scale IaaS/PaaS/SaaS cloud service provider or a Fortune 500 company. Proven ability to leverage AI technology in the security domain. A strategic thinker with a track record of building strategic partnerships. Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering clear information in both written and verbal formats to product teams and leadership. Demonstrated success in attracting and retaining high-performance employees. Deep understanding of security assessment processes and their integration into the software development lifecycle. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum.
