Bring your expertise and be part of transforming our aviation infrastructure. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead the management of several complex construction projects within the aviation sector. Ensure technical requirements of construction projects are met with precision. Apply your strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to guarantee compliance with project demands. Swiftly resolve field issues and effectively respond to Requests for Information. Act as the onsite liaison with contractors, ensuring smooth and timely construction progress. Coordinate and monitor the activities of contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other entities involved in project execution. Manage project controls including cost, schedules, and performance activities according to client requirements. Conduct project meetings, providing clear minutes and valuable documentation to ensure transparency and efficiency. Enforce adherence to safety and performance standards among contractors, architects, and engineers. Oversee project logistics, organization, and safety measures. Ensure thorough project closeout including obtaining guarantees, warranties, and other provisions for handover to the owner. Support the project team in meeting safety obligations. Handle other necessary duties to drive project success. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience as a Construction Manager coupled with a minimum of 3 years as a Senior Construction Manager supervising staff. Proven track record on public projects is essential. Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D is advantageous. Exceptional oral and written communication skills are mandatory. Solid understanding of construction estimating, cost management, project controls, documentation, and construction practices. Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with construction management systems. Ability to juggle multiple contractors and high-paced projects effectively. Professional registration as an Architect, Engineer, or licensed General Contractor is preferred. Certification as a Construction Manager is highly regarded.
