Ambassador Volunteer

UnityPoint Health- Des Moines is looking for energetic and compassionate volunteers to escort patients, families and visitors to their desired destinations within the hospital. You will volunteer with a supportive, professional and fun Volunteer Services team! Shift opportunities include Monday through Friday: 7am to 10:30am, 10:30am to 2:30pm Location to Apply: Please note, all volunteers must complete a screening process prior to joining the team which includes: Placement Interview and Orientation Volunteer Handbook Review State of Iowa Background check National Background check (if applicable) Health Screening Covid and Flu Vaccination Required Tuberculosis (TB) Test Adults commit to a minimum of 6 months Undergrad/Graduate students commit to a minimum of 2 semesters
