Opportunity: We are excited to invite applications for the position of Entry-Level Associate in our Client Advisory Services group, which specializes in outsourced accounting services. This is an entry-level position focused on daily, weekly, and monthly tasks across various clients. You will work closely with Managers, Senior Managers, and the Director, who will provide guidance and support in accounting, Controller, and CFO services as needed. Our primary technology platform is QuickBooks Online (QBO), with opportunities for learning additional software automation tools and ERP systems. Responsibilities: Process daily transactions (A/P and A/R) for clients using QBO. Implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy by leveraging QBO automation. Prepare payroll using payroll software. Reconcile general ledger, bank, investment, and credit card accounts. Assist in the preparation of sales/use and Ohio CAT taxes. Help prepare internal client financial statements. Adhere to firm administrative policies. Qualifications: High school diploma required. Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required. QuickBooks Professional Advisor certification required. Certification as a Bookkeeper preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and QuickBooks Online. Experience with payroll and software like Bill.com is a plus. Solid mathematical skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Flexibility to multitask, manage interruptions, and solve problems effectively. Willingness to learn new software and features in existing tools. Adaptability to embrace change and suggest improvements to processes for enhanced efficiency. Benefits/Compensation: Compensation is based on various factors such as individual experience and qualifications. The typical pay range for this role is $25 - $30 per hour, with additional incentive programs and bonuses for exceptional performance.
