JOB DESCRIPTION Seeking a highly motivated, talented and driven Systems Administrator (Windows/Linux) to work Onsite supporting enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play. RESPONSIBILITIESProvide engineering solutions for various and unique problem sets and customers in a government software hosting facilityDeploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, to include virtual machines and containersPerform routine maintenance and configuration changes to various physical and virtual hosts REQUIREMENTS8 years of experience Linux systems administration experience working with Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, DNS, Hyper-V, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), VMware/vSphere, DISA STIGs, ACAS, SAN, NetworkingInstall, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers, workstations, and IT equipmentManage user accounts and permissionsDeploy and maintain software applicationsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issuesMaintain system backups and disaster recovery plansMaintain documentation to include knowledge base, incident response actions, system configurations, and other information related to system administrationProvide technical support to customers, ranging from resolving technical issues to providing guidance and best practicesSecure information systems and applications to current DoD guidanceMaintain configuration and security posture of information systems through continuous monitoring and routine security events/reportingProvide networking support to on-premises infrastructureUnderstanding and familiarity of Linux OS and virtual networkingParticipate in project planning using Agile methodology REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s)CompTIA Security CEWindows or Linux OS certification SECURITY CLEARANCEActive Top Secret or Interim Top Secret Security Clearance to Start EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. COMPENSATION The likely salary range for this position is $85,280 - $155,560 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of total compensation or salary or any other compensation offered. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
