About the Free Impact Little Library Program The Free Impact Little Library program expands access to free, culturally responsive books for children and families in under-resourced communities. By placing and maintaining Little Libraries in neighborhoods, schools, and community spaces, the program promotes literacy, joy, and lifelong learning. Position Summary The Program Manager will lead the day-to-day management, growth, and sustainability of the Free Impact Little Library program. This role is ideal for a mission-driven professional who is organized, community-centered, and passionate about literacy, youth development, and equitable access to resources. The Program Manager will oversee planning, partnerships, volunteers, inventory, and reporting while working closely with leadership to scale impact responsibly. Key Responsibilities Program Management & Implementation Manage daily operations of the Free Impact Little Library program Coordinate the placement, maintenance, and restocking of Little Library sites Develop and maintain program timelines, workflows, and documentation Ensure program activities align with organizational mission and values Community Engagement & Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and local partners Support community-based events related to literacy and family engagement Serve as a program ambassador representing ImpactHumanity Inc. Inventory & Logistics Track book inventory, donations, and distribution Ensure books are age-appropriate, culturally responsive, and inclusive Coordinate volunteers and community partners supporting library upkeep Data, Reporting & Impact Track program metrics such as books distributed, sites supported, and families reached Collect stories, photos, and testimonials to demonstrate impact Prepare regular reports for leadership, board committees, and funders Collaboration & Growth Collaborate with the Programs Chair and Executive Director on strategy and expansion Support grant-related reporting and program documentation as needed Identify opportunities to grow and strengthen the program sustainably Qualifications Passion for literacy, youth development, and community-based work Experience managing programs, projects, or community initiatives (nonprofit experience preferred) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team Comfortable working in diverse communities and environments Basic data tracking and reporting skills Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally preferred What We Offer Meaningful, community-centered work with visible impact Flexible work structure Supportive, mission-driven leadership and board Opportunity to shape and grow a signature literacy program Professional growth within a values-aligned organization How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief statement of interest explaining why they are passionate about literacy and community impact.
