Electrical Maintenance Technician

An ideal candidate would have a strong electrical/mechanical background, with prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent benefit package, with competitive compensation available.For more information about our company, visit QualificationsAcademic credentials or equivalent experience at a technical degree level (2 years) or 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.Must be effective at troubleshooting PLC's, control logic, single and 3-phase electric, pneumatics, hydraulic, and mechanical equipmentAble to read and understand mechanical drawings, PLC ladder logic, and electrical schematics. Duties Provide routine preventative maintenance and work orders using CMMS. Ensure compliance with all company, customers, MIOSHA, OSHA, and EPA policies and procedures.Assemble electrical, starting devices, switches, follow schematic drawings, using hand, machine, and power tools.General facility maintenance as it relates to plumbing, electrical, minor HVAC, and general structural building repairs and/or installations.Have experience with several brands of VFD and servo drives, installation, setup, and troubleshooting.Find, diagnose, and repair problems.
