Wolfe Design Build is a boutique residential design-build firm celebrated for exceptional craftsmanship and a high-touch client experience. We’re seeking a Working Foreman who can lead and manage our carpentry team while still doing hands-on carpentry work. This is a role for someone who enjoys building, mentoring, and keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish. Compensation and Benefits: • $70,000 - $90,000 yearly (based on experience) • 401(k) with company match • Health, Dental, and Life Insurance • Paid Time Off and Holidays • Professional growth and training opportunities • Supportive, team-oriented environment Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM (occasional Saturdays as needed) Responsibilities: • Lead and coordinate a team of carpenters on residential remodeling projects. • Perform skilled carpentry work, including framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. • Mentor and train less experienced carpenters and apprentices to uphold company standards. • Manage daily jobsite operations, including setup, workflow, and safety compliance. • Assist with material takeoffs, ordering, and inventory management. • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately. • Ensure quality, organization, and cleanliness of worksites. • Participate in project closeout, including punch lists and client handoff. • Uphold company safety and quality standards at all times. Qualifications: • 5+ years of residential carpentry experience, with strong framing and finish skills. • Leadership experience managing a small team preferred. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills. • Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email); experience with JobTread, BuilderTrend, or similar software is a plus. • OSHA-10 required; RRP and CSL certifications a plus. • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and your own tools. • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, climb, stoop, and work on your feet for extended periods. • Detail-oriented with strong commitment to safety, quality, and organization.
