Press Brake Operator Join Our Manufacturing Team and Build a Rewarding Career! Compensation & Shift Details: Hourly Rate: $24 - $28 per hour, based on experience Shift: 1st Shift, 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., with overtime opportunities Position Type: Temporary with potential for full-time employment upon hire About the Role: As a Press Brake Operator, you will be key in producing high-quality metal components by setting up and operating press brake machinery. You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturing standards, to meet production goals and customer specifications. Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy. Change tooling, set ram positions, speeds, and backstops to meet specifications. Record production and scrap data accurately in the ERP system. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Inspect first-piece run and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality. Collaborate with team members and communicate any production issues promptly. Follow all safety policies, industry regulations, and company procedures. Perform physical activities including lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting regularly. Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or GED required At least 1 year of press brake operating experience preferred Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) Familiarity with tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Good eyesight, including depth perception and color differentiation Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Basic computer skills, including ERP systems like Plex Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed Positive attitude, energy, reliable attendance, and teamwork mindset How to Apply: Visit and select Grand Rapids as your nearest office to submit your application.
