Dry Ice Production Lead

CK Supply is seeking a full-time Dry Ice Production Lead to assist in the production of dry ice as well as assist in guiding and training the team. Do you enjoy working with your hands? HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE This position will entail safely producing and scheduling dry ice as needed, based on customer requirements and availability of production equipment and staffing.CK SUPPLY CORE VALUES: Please read slowly these are non-negotiables and we are going to ask you about them in the interview! ✓ Driven - Hardworking, Dedicated, Dependable, Desire to be the Best ✓ Passionate - Positive Attitude, Appearance, Pride, Love What We Do ✓ People-Oriented - Honest, Respectful, Trust-Worthy, Integrity ✓ Solutions-Focused - Knowledgeable, Creative, Problem-SolversPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for production and packaging of dry ice in accordance with customer orders. • Safely operate a forklift and other machinery to load, sort, stage, and transport dry ice products to their appropriate destination or transfer location. • Responsible for the day-to-day safety and operation of dry ice plant equipment, including block, extrusion equipment and saws. • Trouble-shooting and routine maintenance of dry ice equipment. • Keep team members on task and informed of process changes, priorities, and daily objectives. • Responsible for relaying pertinent information back to the manager. • Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors. • Other duties, as assigned, within job classification and business needs.QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS • Must have high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years production or manufacturing experience. • Must be self-motivated while working independently with minimal supervision. • Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people. • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, vendors, coworkers and effectively relay information back to the manager. • Must exhibit a courteous and professional demeanor to customers and coworkers. • Ability to resolve minor disagreements between coworkers. • Must be capable of completing basic mathematical calculations and entering correct information on logs and other reports. • Capable of working in diverse and non-climate-controlled environments.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping. • Must be able to verbally communicate with the rest of the production team and with customers. • Must be able to hear safety alarms and alerts to ensure safety of coworkers. • Must be able to lift or move products up to 75 pounds at a time. • Visual acuity as needed to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.WORK ENVIRONMENT The following is a list of some of the conditions an employee may incur while working in this position. All seasons of outdoor weather conditions while performing non-driving duties.Work in noisy, loud conditions, that at times will require PPE.Transport and transfer hazardous materials including but not limited to Liquid CO2.
