JOB SUMMARY The role involves safely transporting products from our warehouse to various customers while unloading according to company standards. 10 Paid Holidays! Most routes are under 36 hours. RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely unload products from the trailer, using methods compliant with customer specifications. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork related to deliveries. Ensure compliance with food safety protocols at all times. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service and clear communication. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management. REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of experience driving a tractor-trailer preferred. Completion of an authorized driving school may substitute for the educational requirement. CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices is essential. Drivers must be skilled in handling challenges such as navigating various terrains and weather, while remaining alert to surroundings. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication are vital to deliver products efficiently. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The role requires sitting, speaking, and listening. Drivers must regularly lift, push, or move products weighing up to 50 pounds and may push/pull up to 350 pounds with a hand cart. This role involves climbing in and out of the vehicle, bending, and other physical activities as necessary. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Expect occasional exposure to varying weather conditions and noise, and requirements to work overnight, including weekends and holidays as needed to meet customer demands.
