Summary of Responsibilities: Provide leadership to enhance the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver and document care for patients and families. Implement prescribed medical interventions effectively. Qualifications Needed: Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or current enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program, with a goal to complete a BSN within five years of hire. Candidates with 10 years or more experience are exempt from this requirement. Preferred Education: Master’s in Nursing. Licensure: Current RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with eligibility for eNLC. BLS Healthcare Provider certification required. Preferred Certification: National certification in a nursing specialty. Experience: Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
