Industrial Electrical Technician

(MSI) is a leading contract machining and metal finishing specialist that designs and manufactures sophisticated, cost-effective solutions to meet our clients' most demanding challenges. Our company located in Whitsett, NC, is about 8 miles outside of Greensboro, NC.We are currently seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance Team and service the mechanical operations throughout our facility. You will respond to requests for electrical repairs and breakdowns as well as perform routine maintenance and upgrade equipment as necessary. Candidates must know how to troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and make adjustments or repairs if they are not working properly. The ideal candidate will be a background in CNC Machining and electrical knowledge around it. Duties and Responsibilities: Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical systemsCommunicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impactedConduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure qualityAssemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other electrical equipmentInstall new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as neededPerform preventative maintenance on a regular scheduleUtilize and store all equipment properly Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in electrical engineering technology preferredValid electrician license in good standing3+ years of experience working as an electrical technicianExtensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipmentAble to read blueprints and technical drawingsProficient with manual and power toolsFamiliar with code requirements and company safety regulations If you meet these requirements and are interested in applying, please submit an updated copy of your resume to the email address below.Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans/Disabilities
