Company: Highmark Health Job Description: Job Summary Join our dynamic team at Highmark Health as we seek an HR Shared Services Administration Analyst focusing on Payroll Processing to provide analytical support to our HR Operations team. You will play a crucial role in tackling various administrative, compliance, and operational challenges while enhancing employee experiences across HR functions. If you have a background in payroll tax and UKG, we want to hear from you! Essential Responsibilities Provide support to the HR Operations team and Centers of Excellence in multiple areas. Conduct analysis on data from surveys and HR systems to recommend improvements and program maintenance. This includes skills such as: (a) database creation, (b) complex queries, (c) data analysis tools, and (d) metrics development. Contribute to project teams focused on developing administrative processes and systems, responding to management requests. Communicate effectively with staff at all levels to identify and address concerns. Generate reports to track operational and performance metrics for Functional Administration. Engage as a team member in testing new systems and enhancements. Perform data analytics to provide management with variance explanations. Assist in auditing employee data and compliance reporting. Help prepare for and manage regulatory compliance requirements. Support program administration and evaluation through project management methodologies. Complete additional duties as assigned. Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration/Management, or related field. Substitution: 4 years of relevant, progressive experience in lieu of degree. Experience Required: 5 years of experience in Human Resources. Preferred: 3 years of experience in Benefits Administration. Licenses Or Certifications None Skills Knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws and regulations. Strong consultative, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, planning, and presentation skills. Detail-oriented, self-motivated professional. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Language (Other than English): None Travel Requirement: 0% - 25% PHYSICAL, MENTAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONS Position Type: Office-based Engage in teaching or training regularly. Travel between offices is rare. This role does not require physical selling of products or services and does not necessitate a physical work site. Lifting Requirements: Constant lifting up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting of 10 to 25 pounds and rare lifting of 25 to 50 pounds.
