This Engineering role can be filled at the Mid-level or Senior Engineer level. Please see minimum qualifications list below for each level: Mid Level - $90,000 - $110,000 Sr Level - $117,200- $143,000 Role Overview Take the lead in performing advanced engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. Acting as a resource and technical expert, you will be responsible for key technical decisions and will leverage your extensive knowledge in your field along with applicable industry codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities Provide specialized technical expertise to develop and manage engineering analyses and programs. Serve as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system issues through direct involvement. Lead engineering initiatives that enhance site operations for both short and long-term objectives. Execute engineering tasks as assigned, ensuring adherence to engineering principles. Ensure accuracy and completeness of work, maintaining compliance with standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes. Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses to support engineering projects. Advise on the selection of equipment and innovative techniques to enhance performance and ensure regulatory compliance. Fulfill additional assignments as directed by management, including participation in emergency response and support during outages. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications for Mid-level Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Ability to meet access requirements necessary for unescorted access, alongside a favorable medical examination and/or testing as per position duties. Minimum Qualifications for Senior Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Ability to meet access requirements necessary for unescorted access with a favorable medical examination and/or testing as required by position duties. Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer Registration. Experience with Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP). Knowledge of Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP). Experience with generator/plant modifications.
