cBEYONData + SMX is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dedicated team working in support of our Department of Defense customer. This project prioritizes data and capability protection within the financial business domain. You will oversee project oversight, task tracking, prioritization, and customer interactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of managing a diverse portfolio of projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position on a multi-year contract, primarily performed onsite in Arlington, VA, with occasional remote work opportunities. Responsibilities Work onsite in Arlington, VA. Act as the main corporate and customer contact, collaborating with senior functional subject matter experts for client management and project strategy implementation. Lead and manage a diverse project team, ensuring effective collaboration between technical and functional resources. Engage closely with customer stakeholders, striving to exceed their expectations, and ensuring clear communication regarding decision-making impacts and significance. Oversee the overall health of the project regarding scope, budget, profitability, schedule, and delivery milestones. Conduct project and task management activities, maintaining essential documentation and administrative processes. Identify project-level issues and risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies and impact analyses. Regularly communicate project status to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity on project details. Prepare essential briefing decks, presentations, status reports, and other communications for stakeholders. Ensure coordination across projects, tracking emergent action items, defining priorities, assigning tasks, and monitoring completion. Participate in meetings and workshops in various locations around Crystal City, VA, interacting with customers and stakeholders to understand their business processes, challenges, and future objectives. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree is preferred. Top Secret Clearance is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in project or resource management within government consulting. Experience with complex problem-solving strategies, demonstrating an ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions. Strong understanding of client services and experience in business development. Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Proven experience in leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience working remotely with clients and team members. Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and writing skills to effectively engage with colleagues and executive clients. Application Deadline: February 28, 2026 The salary range for this position is $132,400 - $222,400 USD, and we offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid leave, and retirement plans.
