As a Seasonal Operations Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential operational and hiring support. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of administrative tasks to ensure our offices run smoothly. Day to day, you will: Assist in the seasonal hiring process by supporting the H&R Block applicant tracking system and providing administrative support to the District Operations Coordinator (DOC). Help Tax Office Associates with their Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) renewal and payment processes. Handle communication from offices regarding supplies, facilities, or support needs; document issues, research solutions, and escalate to DOC, Company Support Manager (CSM), or District General Manager (DGM) when necessary. Collaborate with DOC, DGM, and field associates on various administrative tasks. Source local vendors for facility-related needs and manage approved payment processes. Review and verify invoices, preparing payments for DOC approval through Coupa or corporate credit card expenses. Maintain proficiency in systems used to support district operations, including Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Suite applications. Participate in training to enhance job performance. Take on additional tasks as assigned by the DOC or in conjunction with the CSM. What You'll Bring To The Team... Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Work Experience: Strong communication skills to engage with associates via phone, email, and chat, utilizing effective customer service techniques. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous customer service experience is preferred. Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate projects effectively. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities, able to interact with all levels of staff. Effective time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with a Windows environment and the ability to learn to support Microsoft operating systems, networking, and software applications. It Would Be Even Better If You Also Had... Work Experience: 1-3 years of administrative experience.
