Laser Welding Programmer Technician

Job Description: Pay Range: $51hr - $56hr Requirement/Must Have: Experience programming 5-axis 3D laser welding systems Strong understanding of laser welding processes and optimization techniques bility to work with advanced laser control and vision systems Responsibilities: Develop, simulate, and optimize 5-axis 3D laser welding programs using Siemens Sinumerik One controls. Utilize TRUMPF Teach Panel with 6D mouse technology to manually define tool paths and nozzle positions on complex 3D surfaces. Configure and program VisionLine Detect camera systems to identify workpiece features and apply real-time position corrections. Optimize welding parameters using BrightLine Weld Comfort technology to achieve high feed rates while minimizing spatter. Manage FocusLine Professional settings to define programmable focus positions and aspect ratios based on material thickness. Lead prove-out activities for new part recipes. Monitor and log real-time laser power data using Active Laser Power Control to ensure consistent and repeatable weld quality. Skills: 5-axis laser welding programming. Siemens Sinumerik One controls. TRUMPF laser systems and Teach Panel. Vision-based welding and part detection. Welding parameter optimization. Process monitoring and quality control. Qualification and Education: Technical education or equivalent hands-on experience in laser welding or advanced manufacturing.
